Parkway Church of the Nazarene aims to be a place of hope for all. We welcome any who are seeking the new life and healing that only comes through the saving work of Christ. We desire to see God glorified in our community, and for all our neighbors to be active disciples of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

As members of the Church of the Nazarene, we fall under the largest "umbrella" of Christianity. Coming out of the Wesleyan tradition, we share theological and missional heritage with denominations such as Wesleyans and Methodists. Learn more about who we are and our core beliefs here.

Our History

Parkway Church of the Nazarene first assembled in 1935, meeting in a shared worship space on Ridge Ave. Years later, we relocated to our own building on Springfield Road, where you now find Tim's Service Center. In 1973, we began worshipping at our current location. We've been blessed every step of the way by God's grace and a deep sense of community!

Our Staff

Rev. Jake Arnold

Pastor

Pastor Jake Arnold and his wife Megan were married in 2018 after attending Olivet Nazarene University together. They welcomed their first child, Hannah, in May of 2022 and are enjoying every moment of life with a little one. Jake and Megan have served together in ministry settings such as music, youth, and missions and have a deep love for the Church.

Pastor Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Olivet Nazarene University (2018) and has served in full-time ministry since 2018 and as an ordained elder since 2021. He loves all things outdoors, music, and photography. Megan enjoys providing full-time care for their daughter Hannah and investing in the music ministry of the church.

Mrs. Genia Marler

Secretary/Custodian

Genia blesses our community with her administrative gifts and keeps our facilities in top-shape. Having grown up in our congregation, she knows our families well and maintains personal connections throughout the week.
